10. INTERIOR DESIGN HISTORY

11. LIGHTING DESIGN
Introduction to basic technical and creative concepts in lighting interior spaces. 2 times of 2 months each. The request for the 1st time extension must be got before the given time duration is over. No charges apply for the first time extension.
Further extension of 2 months will be given on payment of I.Rs. 2,000 for students in India & USD.50 for students outside India. The 2nd time extension request and the charges must be received before the 1st time extension is over.

Assignments Evaluation
Every drawing and theory assignment done by the student, form all over the world, is WhatsApped to Mr. Mathew Jacob Chakramakal for approvals, before the assignments are posted to the school for evaluation and record keeping and the Students assignments are posted back with the next packets of assignments.
On the completion of the course time duration the average of all the assignments submitted is the course grade. The certificate is speed posted to the student. Students whose overall average marks is less than 39.99% Grade "D" do not get course certificate. Only Enrollment certificate and mark sheet is given.

EARNINGS AS A CONTRACTOR
The profit margin varies from 5 % to 30% or even more. Average cost of decorating a 3 bedroom apartment of about 1,250 sq.ft. or, a textile jewellery showroom of about 1,000 sq.ft. is about 10 to 25 lakhs. Assume 15% profit on a 10 lakh bill, will earn you I.Rs. 1.5 lacs. and approx. taking one month to complete. Assume you are doing 3 to 4 project simultaneously, you earn I.Rs. 6 lakhs a month. You can work from your home with minimum investment. The client gives you money in advance and the work is done at the premises. A beautiful looking interior decor gets you the next order.
EARNINGS AS A CONSULTANT
The fees varies from 5% to 20% of total interior decoration cost. Assuming 7.5% on a 10 lakh building you earn I.Rs. 75,000 and approx. taking one month to complete. Assume you are doing 4 projects and you earn I.Rs. 3 lakhs a month.
